| CANCELLATION AND DEPOSIT POLICIES
Policy on minimum age to rent:
A person 18 years or older, holder of a credit card can make a reservation. It must be held personally liable for the other people sharing the same unit (cottage or suite).
Deposit policy:
When booking, a deposit of 50% of stay is required by credit card. The entire deposit is non-refundable 30 days or less before date of arrival. The balance of the booking must be paid on arrival by the head of the unit (cottage or suite). Additional charges may apply depending on the occupancy per unit. The base rate is for 2 adults and 2 children 12 and under. The cost of additional people is $ 40 per person per night.

Cancellation policy:

30 days or more before date of arrival, the 50% deposit will be refunded in full. An administration fee of 5% will be applied;

Between 15 and 29 days before date of arrival, the client may choose to be reimbursed half of the deposit charged or apply it on a subsequent reservation availability (within 6 months) ;

Between 1 and 14 days before date of arrival, no refund and no possibility to transfer the 50% deposit and the booking to a later date.
Credit card on file:
The client accepts responsibility for any damage arising from any loss of inventory, lost keys, damage to property, unreasonable state of the suite or cottage at the start and contrary to any regulation applicable to the unit. The customer authorizes the Domaine des Montagnais to use the credit card on file to charge the costs resulting from any damages cited in the paragraph above.
Operation and Regulations:
Arrival time: From 16:00
Start Time: No later than 11:00. Penalty of $ 40 per additional hour. After 16:00, the burden of a full night will be paid to the credit card.
Reception, registration on arrival: The head of the booking must pass reception during the opening hours for the registration and disclosure of all occupants of the unit, including animals. It will make the final payment of the reservation.
Pets: Due to growing demand from our clients, pets are allowed in some cottages (check in advance when booking).
* We accept pets that will not harm the welfare of clients.
* The fee is $ 20 per night.
* In case of breakage or damage to the building and furniture, additional maintenance caused by the animal (dung inside and outside, hair, odor, etc..), The customer must pay all costs associated with these inconveniences.
* The head of the booking must take full responsibility.
* It is mandatory to notify when booking that you are bringing a pet during your stay and this animal should always be supervised and leashed.
* The management reserves the right at any time to revoke the right to stay in your pet if one or more of these terms and conditions are not met without refund of your living expenses.
Non-smoking accommodation: All units are non-smoking accommodation. A fee of $ 250 for a suite or $ 600 for a cottage apply for non compliance and / or smell of smoke to remove odor and restore the unity of state rental accommodation.
Respect other visitors: In order to ensure the tranquility of customers, the curfew is in effect from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the next day. Excessive noise at any time which disturbs the peace of the customers could lead to expulsion from the Domaine des Montagnais and with no repayment charge to cover the additional costs of control and / or compensation to other customers. Outdoor pool and playground:
* The opening hours of the swimming season are defined by management according to traffic and temperature.
* Only registered customers Domaine des Montagnais have access to facilities.
* Bottles and glass containers are not allowed.
* The diving, running, and excessive noise are prohibited.
* Customers must act so as not to disturb the quiet enjoyment of other users.
* All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
